Real Weddings

Megan and Ryan.

Megan and Ryan were married at the beautiful Pendrell Hall, a romantic country house set in Codsall, Staffordshire. They chose an outdoor service before celebrating with drinks on the terrace and lawn.

The wedding was simple and elegant which suited the stunning surroundings. You must check out the gallery… just for Megan’s shoes!

Caroline and Marvin.

A fabulous wedding at The Mill Barns, an exclusive waterside barn in Staffordshire. Caroline’s and Marvin’s day started with bridal preparation with Caroline and her bridesmaids in the venue's stunning bridal suit.

We then hopped over and managed to capture Marvin getting ready before he joined his best men on the balcony for drinks. Considering it was February we had every weather imaginable, however, this did not stop us from taking full advantage of the unique features and gardens of this popular venue.

Hannah and Adam.

Choose Pimm Hill Barns, a rustic and quirky venue just outside Shrewsbury. They had planned a day that reflected themselves, laid back, fun and family orientated.

We loved how after the wedding breakfast and for the evening, everyone sat around the fire pit, throwing aeroplanes and the bouncy castle kept the young and old occupied for hours.

We loved how they used simple colours and then injected vibrant accents in the flowers and venue decorations. Highlight…. A visit by David Beckham!

Alex and Gavin.

Were married at The Albright Hussey in an eventful service outside. There are moments when we thought the outdoor service wasn’t going to happen however the clouds broke and they were able to start the wedding as planned.

When Alex walked down the aisle, thunder rumbled in the distance. As fate should happen… “We now pounced you….”, an enormous downpour made all the guests run to seek shelter under the trees which made great photos! The day dried and the weather behaved itself for the rest of the day allowing us to get some couple shots in a cornfield and some stunning sunset shots.

A lockdown wedding!

This wedding proves that small weddings are just as amazing as large ones and even more personal. This was our first visit to Hawkstone Hall, a magnificent grade 1 listed building on the Shropshire and Cheshire border.

Due to the current guidelines, they were only able to have 15 loved ones share their day however another 30 guests witnessed the joining of these two via Zoom… hurrah for technology!

Sophie and Craig.

Were married at The Lion Quays, a wedding venue that lays by the side of the Shropshire Union Canal, in Oswestry. We have known Sophie and Craig for a few years as we captured Sophie’s sister’s wedding a few years earlier. Knowing the family and many of their friends it was, even more, a privilege to capture.

The day was one of the hottest on record it was lucky Sophie thought ahead and ordered a pair of sunglasses and fans for their guest comfort… which also made great photo props! We must thank their wedding party for being great sports when we asked them to take a dip in the canal.

Rebeca and Karl.

Rowton Castle was the venue for this wedding and another outdoor service. The bride and her entourage conducted their preparations in the Orchard Suit while the gentleman used one of the hotel's many period bedrooms. We were lucky to flit between capturing all the excitement of the wedding morning. They were married in the Linen Belvedere surrounded by the aroma of lavender.

With being a summer wedding, all guests congregated for drinks on the lawn and the garden. We must say that these guys we hilarious, we think throughout the couple’s shots we did not stop laughing resulting in some natural and authentic images. It was on the dancefloor where we really got to see how wild this pair and the guests were… the dancefloor was alight all night.

Gemma and Tom.

We met Gemma and her bridesmaids in a local hotel not far from the wedding venue. We started the bridal preparation before meeting Tom and his guys at the church. It was lucky we knew the vicar as we could move around the church freely while other photographers are normally rooted to the spot. (its great having friends in high places)

The bride arrived with her father in a classic and Jaguar. After they were married the couple decided on more formal images outside the church before arriving at the venue. After the wedding breakfast, we took full advantage of The Shropshire Golf course with its breath-taking views and as the sun slowly set, it made beautiful golden hour images.
